Space is For Everybody

Space is For Everybody

In 2017, Andrew bought his first telescope. Today he’s a full-time professional astrophotographer who brings space to millions of people.

During this talk Andrew will share the story of how he got into this, mistakes he’s made, the stories behind some of his viral images, and what he’s learned while exploring the universe from his backyard.

You’ll learn what kind of equipment he uses, the basics of how to set up equipment and how to process astronomical data at a high level, while also learning why astrophotography is such a rewarding hobby for many.

While success as a freelance astrophotographer is fairly unique, it doesn’t have to be. We live in a time where anybody can discover the wonders of the universe. Andrew will share his journey in the hopes it will inspire more people to independently explore our skies, and lead to a greater understanding of our place in the cosmos. Space is for everyone.
