About this speaker
Chris Smith is a former high school physics teacher turned photography educator. He started his photography journey photographing the city of Chicago at night, creating dramatic city scenes, and he is the author of The Photographer’s Guide to Chicago (2013).
Chris is also the founder of Out of Chicago, where he and his team have expanded beyond Chicago to organize intimate photography conferences around the country with some of the world’s most creative and inspiring photographers. These small conferences provide an opportunity to work alongside several photographers with a variety of perspectives in the classroom and in the field to create a unique photography learning experience.
